MAHA CHANTING OF THE SRI GURU GITA IN SHREE PEETHA NILAYA
- In our effort to nurture the roots of Sanatana Dharma, we are organizing one of the largest Sri Guru Gita Mass Chantings ever held in a Western country. Join us for this momentous occasion. The Guru Gita, also known as the 'Song of the Guru,' is a Hindu scripture authored by the Sage Veda Vyasa. The text of the Guru Gita recounts a conversation between Lord Shiva and his wife, the goddess Parvati, wherein she seeks guidance on achieving liberation. Shiva responds by expounding upon the guru principle, the proper methods of worshipping the guru, and the benefits of reciting the Guru Gita.
